Lori's Paintings
Lori has been painting most of her life. After Daniel took his life she gave up on everything. She was in a very dark place. She wanted to do something to prevent another mom going through what she was going through.
One night she picked up her brushes and started painting. She watched a movie called The Shack and there was a part of the movie that was about a bottle of tears and that's how Tears From Daniel formed. She wanted to do something with her paintings to bring Suicide awareness out to the public. She donates 10% of the sale to the mission to stop the epidemic of suicide.
The Painting "Mountain High" came about when Daniels friends had sent Lori a message saying they were taking Daniels shoes to the mountain and wanted to know if she wanted anything to go with Daniels shoes. After they had taken Daniels shoes, photo and a cross they took a picture and sent it to Lori. Lori had misplaced the photo and forgot about it. And one day she decided to paint....Mountain High not realizing it was very close to the photo that had been sent to her. After she had finished the painting she then came across the photo. To her amazement they were very similar.
Jessup Loris adopted son wanted the painting and so did Emily who placed Daniels shoes on the mountain. So Lori took the painting to a professional that would capture the photo and make a print.
Lori will use the prints to raise money for the Tears From Daniel mission. Each print will come with the story of how the print came to be and why Emily decided to do what she did.
UPDATE...Jessup and Mary decided that Emily should get the painting. So Jessup and Mary will get the first print.
